What a sad story for the spirit. And the spirit literally did give him everything he had as the reward. I wished the spirit still existed with an ego like the Warrior instead of just becoming a transferrable weapon enhancement. Also, these Guides of Sins don't know how to make a threat or negotiate. They just said they're already got someone super strong to come and kill MC. Why would MC let them live then? It's far too late to go back so he might as well get stronger by killing them. It's not like the attack will be called off if he let them live.
